The Trump administration keeps insisting the war will end in a few weeks. Yet, as Mohamed Vall states in regards to Iran’s philosophy on the war for Al Jazeera, “There is no change in the course of action here in Iran, or in the philosophy of this war. They believe this is a war of aggression that has been imposed on Iran. If this is a war of choice for the Americans and Israelis, for the Iranians, it is a war of necessity, an existential war. So they believe they have no choice but to continue fighting. The fact that every two or three days, they reveal a new type of missile, like the hypersonic missiles, which they say were used for the first time today at 15 times the speed of sound against Israel, is also a statement that Iran still holds many cards in this fight.”
This isn’t a necessary war. It’s not even a war we can win- and even if we do- what will we have left? Not one single ally has answered trumps request for assistance in the strait of Hormuz. His own constituents are against him. The people of Iran are suffering.
This is insanity. Get us out of Iran now!
