Investigate ICE and demand it operate within the bounds of the law. This agency has functioned with near-zero transparency, conducting arrests without warrants, detaining people without due process, and operating as a secret police force, not a federal law enforcement agency. That is not hyperbole. It is a pattern. No federal agency should be above judicial oversight. ICE agents have entered homes without warrants, refused to identify themselves, and detained people with no criminal record. When an agency operates in the shadows with no meaningful check on its power, it is a threat to everyone, citizen and non-citizen alike. I expect full congressional oversight, public reporting on detentions and deportations, and consequences for agents who violate constitutional rights. Silence on this is a choice, and I will remember it.
