I am writing to you to speak up about what occurred today with Senator Alex Padilla at the DHS press conference. It is outrageous that a sitting Senator from California to be forcible removed and then handcuffed for asking questions. This is authoritarian and not at all what any member of Congress should expect when they question any department of this current administration. Do not allow this to stand without repercussions. What is to stop you from being forcibly removed for asking questions about us in Nevada? We elected you to do something. Go do it.
