More Action, Less Lofty Statements

Very disappointed that you chose to vote to move this funding bill forward. You are not doing enough to oppose the dismantling of our government and regulative institutions. We currently do not feel like our party has our backs. We do not feel supported. We do not feel represented as too much has been able to transpire since January 20. Hold your votes. Make some noise. Oppose. Resist. We can’t do this without our representatives and this was a very disappointing move. And wearing pink to the state of the union address is tone deaf. The time has passed for performative displays. We want action. We don’t want more tweets and statements of condemnation. We can do that as citizens ourselves. What we can’t do is what YOU can do. So please, put constituents and people first. The people are literally BEGGING our representatives to DO something.
