I am writing to ask you to oppose H.R. 8705, the CHARLIE Act. This anti-equality bill would ban classroom discussion and materials related to LGBTQ+ identities and race. The result would be history classes that are not allowed to cover slavery, Native American history, or the existence of transgender people. Please vote NO on the CHARLIE Act. Thank you.
