Media is reporting that the Trump administration ignored court orders and proceeded with deportations against a temporary restraining order. If true, this cannot stand. No matter whether or not you believe that deporting these individuals was ultimately warranted, we cannot allow the executive branch to simply defy the courts. Such actions lead us towards authoritarianism and will result in the end of the American Experiment as imagined by our Founders. I beg you to honor your oath to defend the Constitution. Please fulfill your duty to place a check on the unlawful execution of power by the executive branch.
