Impeach and Remove Donald J. Trump in view of Epstein Disclosures

To: Sen. Kaine, Rep. Beyer, Sen. Warner

From: A constituent in Falls Church, VA

January 31

I am writing as a deeply concerned citizen to demand immediate, transparent, and independent congressional action in response to the recently released materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his network of associates. Public reporting indicates that President Donald J. Trump is among the individuals referenced in the newly released Epstein-related files. Given the scope and severity of Epstein’s documented crimes—systematic sexual abuse and trafficking of minors—any credible implication involving a sitting President of the United States demands the highest level of scrutiny. This is not a partisan matter. It is a constitutional one. When a President’s name appears in materials connected to one of the most serious criminal enterprises in modern history, Congress has a duty to fully investigate whether that President engaged in criminal conduct, knowingly benefited from it, or participated in—or was aided by—any effort to conceal or obstruct accountability. If investigation and evidence establish that President Donald J. Trump engaged in criminal acts, abuse of power, obstruction of justice, or participated in or benefited from a cover-up related to Epstein’s crimes, Congress must initiate impeachment proceedings and pursue removal from office. The same standard must apply to any accomplices—inside or outside government—who facilitated, enabled, or concealed such conduct. Crimes against children represent an absolute moral and legal red line. Failure to act decisively in the face of credible, publicly reported disclosures would constitute a profound breach of congressional responsibility and a betrayal of the public trust. Accordingly, I urge Congress to: Immediately initiate a bipartisan investigation into all individuals referenced in the Epstein materials, including President Donald J. Trump; Subpoena and preserve all relevant evidence and testimony related to potential abuse, obstruction, or cover-up; Commence impeachment proceedings and pursue removal if the evidence supports such action; Ensure that any individuals found to have assisted in concealing crimes or obstructing justice are held fully accountable under the law. No office confers immunity. No power excuses silence. History will judge whether Congress upheld the Constitution—or failed when the stakes were at their highest.
