I am writing as your constituent to urge you not to support Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker of the House. I am particularly concerned about his acceptance of campaign contributions associated with AIPAC and the influence of powerful lobbying organizations on our elected officials. I believe the Democratic Party needs leadership that prioritizes the American people, human rights, transparency, and accountability over the interests of wealthy donors and political organizations. Americans are demanding meaningful change, not a continuation of the same political establishment. Electing new leadership should be an opportunity to demonstrate that the Democratic Party is listening to its constituents. I urge you to consider alternative candidates for Speaker who reflect these values and are willing to challenge the status quo. I would also appreciate a direct response regarding whether you intend to support Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker and your position on accepting campaign contributions associated with AIPAC.
