Reject the “Big Beautiful Bill” – It Does Not Represent the Will of the People

To: Sen. Moody, Rep. Gimenez, Sen. Scott

From: A constituent in Miami, FL

June 27

I am writing to express my strong and unequivocal opposition to the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” currently being pushed by Congressional Republicans. This legislation is not only deeply unpopular among the American public, it is also a dangerous step in the wrong direction for our country. From what has been made public, this bill serves narrow political interests at the expense of everyday Americans. It lacks transparency, undermines essential protections, and offers no meaningful solutions to the urgent challenges we face—whether economic, environmental, social, or otherwise. It is an insult to the democratic process that such a widely opposed and poorly constructed bill is even being considered. Passing this legislation would be a betrayal of the public trust. Americans deserve responsible, people-first policymaking—not reckless partisanship disguised as reform. I urge you, in the strongest terms possible, to vote NO on this bill and to advocate for its immediate rejection. History will remember how each member of Congress acted in this moment. Please stand on the side of reason, democracy, and the will of the people.
