SWEAR IN Arizona Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva

To: Rep. McClain Delaney

From: A verified voter in Frostburg, MD

November 6

Arizona Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva has now waited longer to be sworn in than any other member of Congress in this century. It has been 44 days since her resounding, unquestioned 40-point victory in Arizona's 7th District in a special election on September 23rd to replace her father, the late Raúl Grijalva. House Speaker Mike Johnson has not given a clear answer as to why he is delaying swearing in Grijalva, who will be the 218th and final needed signature on a discharge petition to force a floor vote on a bill to release the Jeffery Epstein files. I urge you to publicly demand that the speaker swear in Adelita Grijalva immediately. I note that a coalition of House members could move to recognize her election and demand that the Speaker schedule her oath. I am confident that public pressure and media attention may help accelerate the process.
