I urge you, as your constituent from Raleigh, North Carolina, to vote NO on House Bill 805. This bill, as amended, is extremely transphobic and will cause severe harm to transgender North Carolinians. It's a dangerous overreach that: • Restricts essential healthcare, particularly for minors, denying medically necessary care. • Undermines legal recognition and privacy, forcing the revelation of past gender markers. • Creates hostile environments in schools, jeopardizing the safety and well-being of our transgender youth. These provisions are discriminatory and ignore medical consensus. They will foster fear and marginalize a vulnerable population. Please prioritize fairness, inclusion, and compassion for all residents of our state. Vote NO on HB 805.
