As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to condemn the kidnapping of the Freedom Flotilla activists who were legally sailing to Gaza to provide aid to its besieged people. These activists show the best in humanity by putting in the work to help a people who have been long ignored by the most powerful politicians in the world. If our politicians had shown even an ounce of care towards the Palestinian people in Gaza that these activists have, so many needless deaths could have been prevented. I am hoping that you will use your voice to condemn the kidnapping and abuse that these brave people have had to endure because their leaders failed to do the right thing.
