While these claims need immediate vetting, they align with broader patterns of concern: the infiltration of critical systems, mass firings within agencies like the Social Security Administration, and a total disregard for transparency and due process. It is not irrational to fear that we may be witnessing the early stages of a new kind of war—one that doesn’t start with bombs, but with cyber infiltration, disinformation, institutional sabotage, and the erosion of public trust. These are not theoretical threats. They are playing out in real time. Pair this with former President Trump’s long-documented history of Russian sympathies, election interference findings, and recent steps to dismantle and destabilize key agencies—and you begin to see a deeply troubling pattern.
