Preserve Constitutional checks and balances, nullify executive overreach

This executive order represents an alarming overreach of presidential authority that undermines the system of checks and balances established by Congress. The order claims sweeping control over independent agencies expressly designed to operate outside of direct White House supervision. This violates numerous existing laws granting autonomy to bodies like the Federal Election Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and others overseeing vital aspects of our society. Furthermore, the president is seeking to impound funds appropriated by Congress to these agencies, clearly violating the Impoundment Control Act. This brazen defiance of constitutional principles and the separation of powers threatens our democratic institutions. If Republicans in Congress do not stand up to Donald Trump's illegal actions we will vote them all out of office. I urge you to take immediate action through legislation and legal challenges to nullify this order and reassert Congress' role as a co-equal branch of government. We cannot allow this erosion of our republic's foundations to stand.
