No on HR26-1030 Given our limited resources and the budget situation, Colorado is in, data centers don’t need or deserve tax breaks, incentives, or credits. Our budget situation is partially due to big tech donations to campaigns for Federal offices. Their money helped people get in office who removed guidelines and provided tax breaks to them. States don’t need to sweeten the deal. Colorado is in a decades long water shortage. Look at the debates on splitting the water in the Colorado river. There isn’t enough to go around without the data centers. No to big tech on tax incentives and resources grabs.
