President Trump has pardoned the president of Honduras (convicted of smuggling a massive amount of cocaine and sentenced to 45 years) but continues to support the attacks on Venezuelan boats without presenting any justification beyond his administration's assertion that the occupants are trafficking drugs. Further, the recent "cleanup" attack on two defenseless survivors violates international engagement law.
Pres. Trump has also threatened land attacks on Venezuela despite there being no active war or declaration of war between our two countries.
These actions are rash, cruel, and illegal. Those encouraging them from positions of leadership must be restrained and held accountable. You must take every possible measure within the law to keep this administration within the law. And if they cannot be kept within the law, they cannot be kept in power.
