I’m deeply concerned about the unfettered growth of AI. It needs to be regulated and slowed down; there is no time to wait. I am concerned about its capacity to end humanity, but more immediately I worry about its growing capacity to hack into sensitive systems, to sweep up Americans’ data, and to surveil us. It’s unacceptable. Congress needs to act NOW. Second, I understand Trump wants to send another $2.8B worth of bombs to Israel. I want the Congressmember to support and co-sponsor H.R.3565 (https://substack.com/redirect/6dcb6277-d376-4007-bad1-01ce52a00c47?j=eyJ1IjoiNm1seXYifQ.otOmJiKbuVjJchpYlNRHfEdUeScpGrrwie9zwfsSQuI), the Block the Bombs Act, which would proactively block the Trump administration from delivering the major weapons Israel has used in its mass killing of Palestinians— bombs, tank rounds, and artillery shells. As the Trump administration and the Israeli government continue to escalate the starvation, slaughter, and mass displacement of Palestinians, this bill is necessary to end U.S. complicity in war crimes and crimes against humanity.
