I am writing as your constituent to urge you to take immediate action to stop President Trump’s unauthorized military action on Iran. Your constituents do not want another costly, endless war that we know from past interventions will result in lives lost and resources drained. We cannot let this administration repeat the mistakes of the past while the American people are struggling with real crises here at home. The U.S. Constitution gives Congress—not the president—the power to take this nation to war. The Trump administration has bypassed that authority entirely, launching military strikes without congressional approval and putting U.S. servicemembers, Americans, and Iranian civilians at risk. You have an obligation to use your power and authority to immediately stop these reckless actions. I am calling on you to: - Publicly call for a stop on all further military actions - Support and pass a war powers resolution to require congressional approval for any future actions - Hold this administration accountable and demand full transparency on its actions - Oppose any funding for these unauthorized military actions Trump is not king. Congress must do its job. I am asking you to use every tool at your disposal to rein in Trump and his administration and keep the United States out of another catastrophic forever war. Thank you for your consideration.
