Bring back Kilmar Garcia

To: Rep. Goodlander

From: A constituent in Hudson, NH

April 16

Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia was wrongfully deported to El Salvador despite being granted protections by a U.S. immigration judge. He is currently detained in the notorious CECOT mega-prison in El Salvador under inhumane conditions, amounting to irreparable harm with each passing day. This deportation violated his constitutional rights and due process. The Supreme Court has ruled that the administration must facilitate his return and ensure his case proceeds as if he had not been improperly deported. However, conflicting statements from officials suggest the government may not be acting in good faith to comply with this order. I urge you to take immediate action to secure Abrego Garcia's release from the harsh CECOT prison and his prompt return to the United States, where his immigration case can receive the full and fair adjudication it was denied. Upholding the rule of law and protecting human rights must be paramount in this disturbing case of wrongful deportation.
