Reported in the Portland business journal today were layoffs due to the suspension of federal funding. Please forward to the state AG.
"Forth, the Portland-based advanced transportation nonprofit, last week laid off nine people — a fifth of its staff — as the Trump administration's attack on federal programs rippled through another corner of the economy.
Jeff Allen, Forth's executive director, blamed a hold on payments under a Department of Energy contract and wider uncertainty over other federal spending.
"We've been told payment is pending on the contract and that it's under review because it's funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law," Allen said."
