Tonight, the FCC pressured ABC to remove Jimmy Kimmel from the air for what the FCC chair viewed as insensitive comments. ABC pulled the show off the air. Whether or not you believe that any comments made were insensitive, we cannot have the FCC bullying private companies to remove content simply because it may be deemed inappropriate. It is not a coincidence that President Trump has complained about Jimmy Kimmel for months and now we have yet another example of a private company being bullied into submission. As your constituent, I urge you to lead a congressional investigation into this matter of free speech under the First Amendment. Thank you for your consideration. End
