Texas' reasoning is flawed. So is its age verification law.

To: Justices Court

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

April 30, 2025

I am writing you again today to urge you to take into consideration the flawed reasoning Texas presented for its age verification law. nature of Texas' age verification law and rule in favor of upholding strict scrutiny. The case should be straight-forward. Texas has not demonstrated an urgent need to impose age verification law on adults, nor has the bill prevented minors from accessing explicit content. In practice the bill is actually a ban of pornography and other adult material. This ban infringes on the rights of adults to access this material and minors still are exposed to this material by predators who actually are grooming them. Please take all of this into consideration before issuing your ruling. Thank you.
