Please vote yes to pass the "Vacation Tax" - a tax on short-term rentals may help to move properties back into rental inventory. This in turn would increase the availability of housing and could also make it more affordable. I'm sure THAT would have a bigger impact on Washington families struggling to make ends meet. The amount of the proposed tax is small and if Airbnb is concerned about affordable vacations or the income of rental hosts they could lower their fees.
