We are watching our 248 years of democracy crumble in less than 100 days. It is unconscionable, heinous, that any member of Congress, sworn to protect our great nation's Constitution, would idly stand by watching with us, in complete, dishonorable, and utter silence. Trump will not be the only reprehensible man, notoriously remembered in history books, for the destruction of the democracy of the United States of America. Children will ask:
How did this happen? Why did nobody stop him? What will we say? "We were upholding the priorities of the adminostration" "We were just following orders" But didn't the Founding Fathers thoughtfully craft our democracy to enshrine that this would never, ever, happen? The truth is, and you know as much as I, there was never a guarantee. The Democracy is only as strong as the governing body's oath and devotion to it. You have proven to all of us in Montana, the the entire Nation, through your complicit silence, that your oath and devotion now solely lie within one, single man. Prove us all wrong, before it is too late. We are in this fight together.
Signed,
We The People.
