I expect you're getting a lot of calls and emails about the government shut down right now, and I just wanted to say - I think holding firm against this administration is worth me losing a paycheck. I don't want to trade a little more money right now for the loss of social safety nets I may need later. Letting the shutdown continue until the administration compromises is the right move. Thank you for standing up for regular Americans and our democracy.
