Trump is taking control of the DC police and sending in the National Guard based on lies about the crime rate there. And we all know why. This, like LA, is another test case meant to desensitize us to him taking power he doesn’t have the right to take. There is no emergency in DC. The crime rate is dropping. He is playing dictator and practicing for when he will take over any city he wants. To prevent voting in the midterms, perhaps? The 2028 election? Trump said he would be a dictator on day one, and it’s the one promise he has kept. It is far past time to stand up to him. Ask yourself what you would have done if Biden or Obama had done what Trump is doing now. You would have been appalled, and rightly so. Stop kow-towing to Trump and DO YOUR JOB!
