Bill Pulte is grossly unqualified to be director of national intelligence. And when I say that I mean he lacks the statutorily required extensive intelligence experience. Instead he has NONE. I am not sure he could pass the background check for a mere top secret clearance without a waiver. And there is every reason to believe, based on his prior conduct, that he will exploit his access to our nation’s intelligence apparatus to attack people and groups that the current POTUS perceives as enemies and to interfere in our elections. Congress must act immediately to force Pulte out of the position he should never have been put in.
