As a woman and a registered Republican in your district, I implore you to vote to release the Epstein files. As a woman, you should be sympathetic to this cause. Rumor has it that many House Republicans will vote yes on releasing those files. Will the house have a veto-proof majority? You can help. As we have seen with the release of the emails yesterday- there are many reasons to believe that much worse things are contained in those files. Where do you stand? Do you condone the sexual abuse of underage girls? Regardless of who these men are, the right thing to do is vote yes on the release of those files. These powerful men thought they were invincible. Are they? Will you help keep them from being held accountable? Or will you do the right thing and vote to bring some form of justice to those women? Are you going to be a “pick me?”. As a woman, you know that these men don’t care about you or any other woman. They will never see you as equals. Don’t let them have the power. You didn’t sign the discharge petition. How sad. You could have been one of the few women to stand up for what’s right. You have another chance to be on the right side of history and stand in solidarity with all of us. The world is watching you. We will see where you stand. Have you read the Handmaids Tale? Because if not, you should. Are you a Serena Joy? Will you support the men who show such disdain for women, or will you rise up and be an advocate and supporter of women? When the vote happens, we will be watching. You must vote to release those files.
