Trump says the war with Iran is basically over. He claims victory. He says we won…
If any of that were true, why are we still sending troops overseas? Why are we still seeing the president and the pentagon and the department of the defense asking for billions more of our tax dollars? Why are Trump and his administration pushing so hard for an economical shift to a wartime economy? And why is Trump approaching American car makers asking them to retrofit their factories to produce weapons and other war related equipment?
As the kids say- the math ain’t mathin’.
WE THE PEOPLE understand how difficult it can be to tell POTUS no. We understand because we ourselves have also raised toddlers. The trick is to validate their feelings and help them calm down. They need to know that even though it feels like the world revolves around them, it doesn’t.
Gentle parenting is the key. Tell Trump to blow out the candles, catch a bubble, and go sit quietly until he can be more measured and reasonable. Then tell him the world does not revolve around him. The war is over. And it’s time for him to take a very long nap in a very secure facility…
