Have you seen enough yet? Stock markets down 13% since tariffs went into place last week? Did you see the crowds at the Hands Off rallies? Trump doesn't seem to understand what everyone is protesting, and Elon wants to pretend that we are all Soros-paid actors or protestors. NONE OF THAT IS TRUE. The President can't be so ignorant; if he is, he has NO BUSINESS running (or ruining) our democracy. If he's not, he is purposefully trying to implement a treacherous and insidious agenda. It is not a far stretch to say that he wants to get the entire US demonstrating and protesting so that he can invoke the Insurrection Act, declare martial law, and entrench himself as a dictator. My question is, what are you going to do about it?? You are our duly-elected officials, and we expect your protection. We expect there to be checks and balances. We DO NOT expect to just absolve Congressional power to the Executive Branch. Will you act deaf to the cries of the people you represent? I am retiring at the end of this month, and Trump is WRECKING my retirement plan!! IT'S TIME TO ACT. IT'S TIME TO IMPEACH. If you don't think there's enough justification for impeachment, let's get together and talk. I'll be happy to help you lay out a plan, but we have to know that you're on OUR side, the side of your constituents, and not the dictator-wannabe. Will you help? Will you respond appropriately? Or will you keep trying to fleece us, refuse to answer our questions, refuse to denounce this traitor that was never elected with the intent of demolishing our democracy? The time for action is now, Congressperson. Please don't let us Iowans down.
