I demand immediate enactment of legislation granting tax exempt status at retirement age to individuals who have paid into the highest tax bracket their entire working lives, in recognition of their lifetime contribution. This should be applied with the same respect and standard we already extend to tax exempt veterans, honoring service in both economic and military form. These people are getting punished by the more money that they make, and we’re not giving them anything back when they retire we need to take care of them like they took care of us in our whole lives.
