I read in the news recently that RFK Jr. fired the entire 17-person CDC vaccine advisory committee (ACIP), and he intends to replace them with his own picks! I also read that the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices advises the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention on how to use vaccines. It appears to me that this action is politicizing the ACIP and is not what is in the best interests of Americans. This move also indirectly affects world health. The nation needs highly qualified medical professionals to manage operations at the CDC. They were just fired by RFK Jr. Please act on this quickly. Thank you.
