Condemn and investigate assault of Sen. Padilla

I am horrified by the assault on Senator Padilla yesterday. What is happening in our country? Why are police, secret service agents, and ice being allowed to blatantly violate people’s rights with no consequence? If this is what they do in front of cameras in broad daylight, what are they doing when no one is watching? This is not a dictatorship! We don’t assault Senators for asking a question. Congress needs to condemn these actions and demand a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the role of Secretary Noem and the security personnel involved. Will Rep. Menendez call for this?
