The NDAA is full of flaws! The House recently passed the NDAA in a shameful betrayal of the American people. Attaching the SAVE Act and the inclusion of Section 219 which makes it a law requiring that we share our Defense Technologies with Israel. We already share Voluntarily with Israel, a law would tie our hands. Would you like to be in a fight with your hands tied? Probably not. A friend would not ask you to fight for/with him with such a restriction in place. The American people are sick and tired of Congress back- dooring scurrilous legislation by attaching same to other legislation more likely to pass. It’s a betrayal every time. The NDAA put forward, is outrageously overpriced. 1.5 trillion dollars to a department that has never passed an audit. 1.5 trillion dollars for a department that had a $93 Billion dollar surplus on $919.2 billion dollar budget for 2025. A Surplus bought in a spending spree that included $22 million dollars in Lobster, steak and crab legs, that definitely won’t be consumed by enlistees. It is my opinion that the price is too high. We have 3/4 of a million people homeless, half are children. We have Veterans who are not receiving the services they need. We can’t fund SNAP, we can’t fund healthcare, we are putting work requirements on the disabled, but we can always find money to feed the Military Industrial Complex and because our president has decided unilaterally to dump our military stockpiles in a illegal war of choice, that you refuse to end. It is time for you to stand up for the American people, of whom you are employed, or resign and go to work for whoever it is that you ARE willing to serve. I’m sure they will appreciate it. Vote NO on the NDAA and SAVE Act.
