The headline this morning is that only 27% of voters view the Democratic Party favorably. That feels about right. In countries all over the world Democrats are seen as a right leaning party, perhaps centrist at best. That view was affirmed as we watched Schumer and his gang of spineless weasels lay out the red carpet for Republicans to tear funding aways from programs that support us. I’m watching reasonable people agree with the sentiment that it might be time to let it all burn and it’s truly disheartening. If there is hope for the American experiment it’s in political realignment. If Neo-libs in congress want to get reelected, they better figure out how to take over the Republican party because I think a lot of them are going to get primaried out of a job if we have another election. Tesla commercials on the White House lawn, billionaires cosplaying as government employees, defunding programs funded by the American people for the American people, watching the Military budget grow while Social Security teeters on the edge of destruction, and Green Card holders being detained and tortured like terrorists. We elected you to represent us and defend our interests. We need the Democrats to fight like our democracy is dying, because it is. Thank you for voting against the Republican funding bill. Pass on to your peers that the American people and the eyes of history are watching. Do they want their legacy to be that of the politicians that did nothing while the Reichstag burned?
