I have historically given to Democrat campaigns across the country. It has gained nothing for Americans, for Immigrants or for the most vulnerable in this country. I'm watching Trump tear down our democracy while his gestapo kidnap people off the streets. I'm watching Trump waste military ordinance on pointless bravado while threatening Americans with military force at home. Yet all I see is Democrats talking about honoring norms that don't exist anymore. They embrace toxic legacy candidates over new, progressive voices while claiming to fight for the people. Most ridiculous of all is the requests I get daily asking me for money to help them do this. Every email seems to talk about "friends across the aisle". YOU DON'T HAVE FRIENDS ACROSS THE AISLE. They are tools of the tyrant trying to topple our democracy. They are ignorant sycophants passing legislation they haven't read because daddy told them to. When the Democrats start acting like our country and freedom are more important than their job security, I will donate again. Not a penny until then.
