Demand Accountability for Trump’s 2025 Constitutional Violations
To: Rep. Omar
From: A constituent in Minneapolis, MN
May 5
Hi, I’m a Minnesota resident writing to express urgent concern about the Trump administration’s ongoing constitutional rights violations in 2025. I’m asking you to take immediate action to hold the administration accountable.
So far this year:
• Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a longtime resident of MN, was deported by ICE despite a court order allowing him to stay — a clear violation of due process.
• Peaceful protesters — including students and faculty — have been met with arrests and violence for opposing U.S. foreign policy, with the administration revoking visas of international students and barring dissenting press voices from the White House.
• Executive Orders 14168 and 14201 have stripped federal recognition and protection from transgender individuals, denying health care and legal documents and endangering lives. These actions violate the First and Fourteenth Amendments, ignore court rulings, and put vulnerable communities at risk.
I urge you to publicly condemn these abuses, support investigations, and introduce legislation to stop this pattern of unconstitutional behavior. We need leaders who defend the rule of law — now more than ever.
Thank you.
