The High Country is still trying to recover from the impacts of Helene, and this holiday season is essential to the economic security of many. So what does the Federal Government do? Send ICE agents up here to occupy hotel rooms and "crack down" on the Christmas tree farms, effectively shutting down one of the biggest private infusions of cash to the High Country. This is deplorable. Use all of your influence to get ICE and CBP out of the High Country now.
