President Trump's recent comments undermining Ukraine's sovereignty and parroting Russian disinformation are deeply concerning. His false claims that Ukraine started the war and should capitulate to Russian aggression threaten to embolden Putin while betraying a key democratic ally. We must stand firm in supporting Ukraine's right to self-determination and territorial integrity. Appeasing authoritarians and abandoning our democratic partners will only destabilize the international order and weaken American leadership on the global stage. I urge you to forcefully reject Trump's reckless overtures to Russia and reaffirm America's commitment to upholding the rules-based international system alongside our NATO allies.
