Voting NO on the 'big beautiful bill' is the Senate's last chance to save America. This bill, besides scaling up the pointlessly cruel attacks on the most vulnerable Americans, turns Project 25 into law. It takes all of the flagrant corruption you have ignored, all of the sickening ineptitude of faithless 'leaders' that you instilled, it takes all of the actions that you did not authorize, it takes all of the money that was appropriated by you which you surrendered without a sound, and it makes Donald Trump a king. We have no more chances. We cannot depend on the courts, because unlike you, the courts are following the law to do their job. They are not permitted to do *your* job. Either by design or by cowardice, you have brought our country to the brink of death. I wish that your oath to defend the Constitution, your sense of duty, your devotion to country, your regard for your families or simply the desire to preserve your own skin would have prompted you anywhere along this path to show some basic decency, let alone courage. If I could step into your office and do it for you, I would do it today in a heartbeat. Today, you will be marked as a patriot or a traitor. It is apparent you are fine with either since you are immune from consequence, while for the rest of us, the streets will fill with blood.
