Stand against book bans.

I strongly oppose Oklahoma Senate Bill 593, which would ban fantasy romance books in libraries and schools. This is a dangerous overreach that violates the First Amendment and sets a precedent for state censorship of literature. Book bans like SB 593 do not protect children—they suppress knowledge, creativity, and diverse storytelling. Targeting entire genres harms authors, publishers, and readers nationwide. This kind of censorship is a step toward authoritarian control of ideas. I urge you to publicly denounce this blatant attack on free expression and take action to prevent similar censorship efforts from spreading. The government has no right to decide what literature is “acceptable.” Stand against book bans.
