I just read your misleading letter, and poll, entitled Fighting for America’s Female Athletes. I’m wondering whether you truly believe the rhetoric you share (and if you do, you should spend more time listening to transgender people,) or are you just pandering to the far right Christian Nationalist conservatism that has overtaken this country’s political system? You spend an inordinate amount of time and energy on issues that are extremely unimportant, but you push the agenda of the extremely narrow-minded, wealthy theocrats. Transgender women are NOT dangerous. Transgender women make up a very small number in sports. Transgender women are women. Sports are not the be-all and end-all of life in this world. When you word a poll in this manner, your results are skewed, just like you want them to be, so that it appears that more people are with you. Be better.
