Please VOTE NO on defending public broadcasting. This is not about liberal vs. conservative; this is about supporting a service that helps your constituents. Rural towns and Native American communities rely on public broadcasting, especially, and stay-at-home moms and homeschoolers know that PBS Kids is a trusted educational resource that we don't have to worry about advertising to our children or containing harmful messaging. PBS and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is such a small percentage of the federal budget, and it does so much to help communities. Please don't make this about ideology. Please think about what is honestly helping your constituents. As a constituent and mother, I ask you to please NOT vote to cut funding for public broadcasting.
