The reflecting pool is a perfect example of this administration's incompetence. First Trump picks something he thinks is a problem, then he decides what he wants to do about it without benefit of discussing it with experts. He ensures a no-bid contract, with no oversight, is given to someone with a connection to him. The contractor does the work, and when it all goes wrong, Trump blames the Democrats (or the press, or some other scapegoat). We the American tax payers are left with a huge bill for whatever work has been done. That money has now been wasted on pay for play schemes and nepotism, instead of being used to help American citizens. This is a theme that seems to be on loop with the Trump Administration. Trump fills his own pockets, and those of his family, friends, and associates, at the expense of programs that actually help the American people. From where I stand, that is theft, plain amd simple. So if the government truly wants to root out fraud, look no farther than the White House.
