The Kennedy Center Board of Trustees deliberately delayed its July meeting in order to flout a court-ordered deadline, and the judge is apparently allowing this. You, Senator Warner, are a member of that Board. It is a deeply, deeply corrupt situation, when powerful institutions don't have to play by the rules but the rest of us do. What would YOU, Senator, tell your constituents who are musicians in the National Symphony Orchestra, about why they don't have a budget for the next season, which should have been approved months ago? Are you planning to attend the August meeting? Are you going to make sure the KC Board of Trustees votes to approve the NSO Budget? If not, why not?
