VOTE YES ON H. R. 4831 to pass the enforce act

To: Rep. Kean

From: A constituent in Mendham, NJ

August 31

Dear Representative, As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to co-sponsor and demand an immediate floor vote for H.R. 4831, the ENFORCE Act. The U.S. Senate recognized the extreme urgency of this issue and already passed the companion bill (S. 3021) with unanimous, bipartisan support. The legislation is now stalled in the House, and every day of delay leaves children vulnerable. According to FBI data, over 500,000 child predators operate online daily. The rapid explosion of advanced generative Al now allows criminals to instantly create, alter, and scale realistic imagery of child abuse. Yet, due to severely outdated federal legal loopholes, offenders who use Al to exploit children do not face the same strict mandatory sentencing, lack of statute of limitations, or sex offender registry requirements as traditional offenders. Please use your leadership to pull H.R. 4831 out of the Judiciary Committee and bring it to a vote. We must give our legal system the modern tools it needs to protect children from digital exploitation.
