Say NO to SAVE voting!

To: Rep. Bean, Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott

From: A verified voter in Fernandina Beach, FL

April 12

The SAVE Act is a blatant act of voter suppression that will target average American citizens more than anyone else. I am concerned primarily for victims of domestic abuse situations, Indigenous populations, married and/or divorced women who typically change their name, legal immigrants who anglicanize their name(s), and rural voters or other populations with potentially inadequate facilities. As a personal anecdote, my birth certificate had to be changed due to a clerical error and was recently deemed an unfit document that had to be re-issued. I am concerned that others like me would face barriers to voting despite being from multi-generational American families. Please vote NO on the SAVE act. Voting should be made easier for the average American, not harder. Thank you.
