I hope you read the article in The Atlantic about the Kennedy Center. As an ex-officio member of the Board, you have some responsibility regarding its fate. I know you have many other responsibilities as well, but that doesn't absolve you of the need to protect the Kennedy Center. Do something. Please. And don't send me another form letter saying it's all just a distraction. Not if you want my vote.
