I strenuously oppose S.5, the Laken Riley Act. The bill exploits the tragic death of Laken Riley to sow widespread fear of immigrant communities. It’s a stepping stone to mass detention and deportation with no due process. Vote NO. I see that so far you are listed as supporting this bill. I understand the impulse here, but this is not the right Bill. Please oppose.
