The Biden administration's proposed $20 billion weapons sale to Israel is deeply concerning given Israel's well-documented massacres and human rights violations against Palestinians. These arms transfers violate US laws like the Foreign Assistance Act and Arms Export Control Act by providing military aid to a regime guilty of war crimes and indiscriminate civilian casualties. The bombing campaigns in Gaza have killed over 3,100 Palestinian children under age 5 in the last year alone, many with US-made weapons. Continuing to fuel Israel's genocide undermines core American values. I urge you to support Senator Sanders' resolutions to block this unconscionable arms deal and halt complicity in Israel's illegal military operations against a defenseless civilian population. The US must use its leverage to demand an immediate ceasefire and end to the occupation of Palestinian territories.
